The roots that clutch

Should not be writing more fic, should not be writing more fic... yeah, like that ever did any good. And this is one that's been hovering for a long while; I'd begun to think out how to write it, and "God Mode" just went there (from my skewed perspective at least), so now I need to set it down. It won't be terribly long; if I can't express the concept in a couple thousand words it's not worth expressing.

I hope that was cryptic enough. :P
