The hardest thing in the whole tiny story was naming the game. You'd think there'd be a lettuce variety (or other green, or vegetable) that sounds like "baccarat," but there isn't. And the closest thing I could come up with otherwise was "peanutcle," which is awful, so I went with a veggie that sounds like it should be a card game.
