I really don't understand title changes, and I think they still refer to the whole series as "Rivers of London" - maybe they thought it would be confusing?
"Orange is the New Black" is a Netflix original series about a women's prison, focusing on Piper, the main character, who's doing 15 months for carrying drug money on behalf of her lesbian lover 10 years previously. It's definitely cable-level in rating - F-words and nudity and lots of sexual references - and kind of gritty, but also weirdly sweet in places. There are characters of many races and ethnicities and sexualities and all walks of American society; Piper is white and pretty and fairly well-to-do, but the show's very aware of using her perspective and makes regular fun of itself for doing so. It's sort of a comedy - regularly funny but with dark subject matter. It took me a while to get all the characters straight, but the flashbacks help.
