Hm, I think it's time for me to revisit my Shakespeare education and make the acquaintance of The Winter's Tale and Love's Labour's Lost, because I'm not at all familiar with either of them.

And oh yes, totally agree about fandom being a private retreat. I watch at lot of the shows I'm fannish about with my husband and he reads a lot of the same books and we chat about them, but the rest of it is my game. I've occasionally offered him various of my fics to read, but he doesn't really want to read fic.
