He was great, but it was a very different role than he's played before, and not just because he was wearing a dress. I was very impressed, and a little weirded out, at the voice and the stance and the audience interaction and open display of flirtation and sexiness. It was all nicely ambiguous, because you almost couldn't tell whether the character (and even the actor, if I hadn't known him) was a man in drag or a woman with a beard. And the play (student-written and directed) was good, though it needs some polishing to be really good.
