scrawling it forever

Well, this is silly when I have so much to work on already (the last two songfic prompts are in my head! Mostly! Just need time to write them down!) but it looks like fun, and even reading the prompts will help to get me out of the pissy mood I'm in (which is really just the sleep/pain issue, still). From [personal profile] avanti_90 and [personal profile] philomytha:

Pick one of my stories and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future. Can be from any character's POV.

I could also do missing scenes, insofar as they exist, or, you know, don't and possibly shouldn't. Stories are here.

In other news we are home after an uneventful journey this time. It's been snowing on and off today. I left my icepack in San Francisco (well, Berkeley, but might as well go with the more lyrically reminiscent) and my cold is worse, and, bleh. Words will help.

Glad to hear you are all home safe, hope you managed to have a fun time despite the cold and that knee. Waiting for snow storm #2 to start, it's been on and offing all afternoon. Happy New Year to you all.

Four inches of nice fluffy snow, so over a foot on the ground now. Forecast for the week has low temperatures in the single digits, so no melting for a while. It's very pretty, but the wind is blustering, Ben just went out to the hot tub, we'll see how long that lasts!

Huh, this makes me realise how many of your stories already span time in interesting ways (Thirty and Imperial Bedrooms, two favourites, both kind of complicated in terms of where the beginning and end are). But how about The Emperor's Garden, in early spring, five years later?

And I hope words help with all the assorted miseries. *hugs*

Please take this as the compliment it is when I say that, much as I'd like something else in the "Lion's Cub" universe...darned if I can find anything to ask for. Everything I want is already there.

But I seem to have glommmed on to "Thirty"...how 'bout a bit missing scene from Aral's 30th? Piotr's PoV, for preference.

(I did have to beat down the corner of my mind that really wanted the missing central (day) scene with Ezar-the-honey-trap. Yeeesh. Apparently stressful weeks make me completely bloody shameless. Please feel free to run with that one instead, if it suits your mood better.)

I want "And Love Itself Have Rest," two days later. :)
