The last prompt: [personal profile] philomytha wanted something set five years after "The Emperor's Garden" in early spring (and I am hoping that with my usual lack of self-serving timing I will send her into labor by just posting this, and she won't get to read it for a week!).

This does, sorta kinda, count as Gregor/Ekaterin, not that they don't have too much sense for that really, but you are warned.

Come here often? )

PSA: these posts seem to be mostly cross-posting to LJ fine, but I cannot currently respond to comments there, so if you've commented there I'm not ignoring you (I think this is just [personal profile] kivrin - thanks for the kind words!). Seems to be resolved now!

Here's a thing that turned into a longer thing than I thought it would (and what else is new), for [personal profile] eight_of_cups: two days after "And Love Itself Have Rest."

Another fic for [personal profile] ailis_fictive, who wanted a sort of missing scene from "Thirty," something to do with Aral's thirtieth, from Piotr's POV (and you get the bonus Piotr/Ezar, if not in any more detail than the original). I'm not sure how much sense this makes, but it was entertaining to write.

Well, this is the ficlet that happened today, somehow not unexpectedly: [personal profile] gogollescent's request for Simon and Alys after the end of "L'oiseau qui vole."

Got rather long!

Surely you didn't think I'd mind? )

Well, this is silly when I have so much to work on already (the last two songfic prompts are in my head! Mostly! Just need time to write them down!) but it looks like fun, and even reading the prompts will help to get me out of the pissy mood I'm in (which is really just the sleep/pain issue, still). From [personal profile] avanti_90 and [personal profile] philomytha:

Pick one of my stories and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future. Can be from any character's POV.

I could also do missing scenes, insofar as they exist, or, you know, don't and possibly shouldn't. Stories are here.

In other news we are home after an uneventful journey this time. It's been snowing on and off today. I left my icepack in San Francisco (well, Berkeley, but might as well go with the more lyrically reminiscent) and my cold is worse, and, bleh. Words will help.
