there's a mind under this hat
May. 6th, 2013 11:03 amYou just get hats all week. Sorry about that.*
Just posted this to the kink meme:
So this is very very odd, though apparently not odd enough to post anonymously, and will probably only appeal to a certain demographic (at least as old as me and/or clinically nostalgic) but... okay, so I have a bird-themed playlist (Oh, Mr. Finch) which pointedly does not include Tom Lehrer's "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park," because, but actually I rather expect Harold would secretly find it funny, so...
Short version: John walks in on Harold and [someone] having a total geek-out Tom Lehrer fest. Extra points if [someone] is Root, but any canon character will do.
If you like the concept but don't know Lehrer's work, feel free to run with another Harold Is Secretly A Fan scenario. I just need something pointlessly funny right now.
This in honor of "I Hold Your Hand In Mine" coming up while I was mowing the lawn. (I've got it in the Body of Work playlist. Immediately before "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" because, duh.)
*There must be something in Tom Lehrer's oeuvre about hats, but I couldn't think of it, so the subject line is Laura Marling, because "Goodbye England" was stuck in my head before amusing cannibalism took over.
