I did go for a walk yesterday. And utterly fucked up my knee in the process. It wasn't bad, for the first half - a little sore and limp-provoking, but I could take it - and then of course when I was the farthest from home it started to hurt like fury, and I had to struggle back with it screaming at me. And then less than an hour later I went to PT, and because of the palliative stuff it got looser and I was able to do some exercises (which are nothing much, and didn't cause any pain because they are not weight-bearing), but I usually come out of there humming and ready to take the stairs down, and I chose the elevator this time, and when I got home and had sat down with a plate of lunch I found I really couldn't get up again, or at least couldn't manage to put any weight on the right leg to speak of. And it hurt sitting down, which has not been the case up till now. And sleeping was a bitch, because I could only be comfortable on my back and even then not so much.
It will get better, with rest and ice and painkillers, and I can struggle out for my endocrinologist appointment this afternoon, and when I go back to PT on Thursday I will say "No exercises today!" because after that I have to drive to Allentown. Ha.
But... STUPID.
I did figure out the "Sparrow" backstory before the pain really set in, though. Not surprisingly, it involves a lot of Negri being Negri.
