Having now read All The Fic, or at least all I want to, and enjoyed it thoroughly, I have decided that if I write the obligatory Lewis/Hathaway story, it will be the one where things go badly all around, because frankly there are enough potential vipers lurking to slay any but the most totally committed. (Not that they couldn't be, but everyone else has already written that story.)
You might discount this impulse, however, as I think it stems from being rather grumpy because:
1) My knee still hurts.
2) It's bloody hot.
3) Our hot water heater has been broken since Thursday.
Cold showers are probably the answer to everything (including Lewis/Hathaway) but our water comes from deep in the earth and it's freezing. So I think I'll pass.
