In case it's been troubling you, I did put up the song meme answers. I checked; out of the songs on my phone, about 10% are Beatles, which is a lot, but not as much as the 20% I got randomly for this meme. Also finding the randomness of both "Crane Wife" sections hard to believe, along with the Bob Marley song I'd quoted in the previous post. But so be it.

I do have another music meme in mind, but I won't bother you with that one yet. I do need to listen to some music today, though, even if I can't do anything while hearing it. Still barely dragging myself from room to room, and there is no way I am doing PT or the drive to PA tomorrow. *snarls at knee* Also having random cramps everywhere when stretching for things.

Doctor says blood tests show I am now HYPOthyroidic. Oh joy.

Trying hard not to be depressed at all this. Painkillers, ice, elevation, IcyHot, tea, Finch.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a rotten time, and I hope it gets better soon. Finch sounds like good medicine :-).

And in the meantime, have a random drabbly image that popped into my head on the general subject of Aral, Simon and dogs:

Cordelia walked into the library, then stopped. Aral was sitting on the deep low sofa, head back against the cushions, eyes closed. Beside him sat Simon, his posture wholly tilted towards Aral. One of Aral's arms was around him, the other hand rested on the top of Simon's head, and Simon too was asleep. Cordelia looked at them, and felt a strange flicker of memory, of Count Piotr dozing on the sofa at Vorkosigan Surleau with one of his favourite hounds curled against him.

She blinked and the flicker was gone, and she saw two very tired friends whose conversation had evidently turned to sleep while she'd been gone. She took a step, and Simon moved a little, eyes opening. Aral moved too, gave a grunt, and smoothed his hand on Simon's head. Simon subsided, and Cordelia smiled. Perhaps her first impression had been the right one.
