Okay, now I feel sort of obliged to write the Kick-Ass Artist story and call it (wait for it now) "Amazing Grace."

Not really. But let's see what happens.

Oh, and for the couple of you who care: I didn't imagine the dirty joke they slipped into this week's "Castle," did I? The "Master Baker" moment. (Also: kick-ass Ryan of the undercover Irish-mob-infiltrating past! I don't know where you came from, but you were cool.)

The Master Baker line followed immediately the scene in which Ryan and Jenny are discussing how he's going to provide a sperm sample. It just... struck me at the time.

It didn't occur to me that they might kill him off - I think it would have needed more build, in retrospect, though really all I was thinking while watching was "the Ryan ep, yay!" And I suppose he had to be doing something tough before he joined Homicide; the mild-manneredness is deceptive.
