No time

I have been fighting the impulse to write a fic featuring Sergeant Hathaway (from "Lewis"), Sergeant Longbright (from the Bryant & May books), and Sergeant Wield (from the Dalziel & Pascoe books). It would, of course, be called "No Time For Sergeants," and no one but me would get the jokes. I assume they would all be after someone who'd committed crimes in Yorkshire, Oxford, and London. Unless there is a Sergeants' Club (somewhat similar to the Junior Ganymede Club) at which they all meet and blow off steam. Between the three of them, they steam a fair amount.

It would be a fatal error to include Sergeant Bothari in the mix.
